An amazing hand-painted and hand made circle skirt. I was able to locate multiple of this style of hand painted skirts on ebay and other resale sites. There are amazing techniques used to create the visual scene on this skirt. There are fast brush work techniques to create the background, and then a depiction of a street scene, a kind of parade occurring.
The skirt fastens first in the front with a hook and eye closure. The measurement of this is 29” at its tightest. Then the front placket of the skirt has two loose straps that are fastened in a knot or tie at the back. The skirt is long and very full.
